Brawl at Fresnillo’s jail leaves four inmates injured

FRESNILLO, ZACATECAS.- Four inmates were injured by a knife in a fight at the Fresnillo Regional Social Reintegration Center. Zacatecas authorities reported that no prisoner escaped.

Through a statement, Zacatecas authorities reported that containment protocols were implemented, so the fight inside the prison could be controlled.

Criminal groups set fire to a trailer that blocked Federal Highway 45 for a few minutes at the height of the El Jorobado bridge and some points where metal stars known as tire punctures were thrown with the aim of preventing the Security Forces from acting.
