They are the Mexicans who leave Israel on a Sedena flight; “We are eternally grateful”

The Boeing 737-800 plane, of the Mexican Air Force, took off from Ben Gurion International Airport, in the city of Tel Aviv, in Israel, with 135 passengers on board.

“We are very grateful, thank you very much,” are the words with which Miriam Bolaños thanks the Government of Mexico for sending a plane from the Ministry of National Defense to Tel Aviv, in Israel, so that she and 134 other Mexicans can return home safe and sound.

Shortly before 3:00 p.m., Mexico City time, the Boeing 737-800 plane, registration 3528, of the Mexican Air Force, took off from Ben Gurion International Airport, in the city of Tel Aviv, in Israel, with a total of 143 passengers on board.

Other Mexicans who will be able to return home are the members of the Mexican rhythmic gymnastics team, who were conducting a training camp.

“We are very grateful, we are the Mexican rhythmic gymnastics team, we were here in Israel in a preparation camp heading to the Pan American Games; More than anything, I would like to clearly thank the entire state government, all the people who have supported us, we are finally going to return home, we are very excited and happy; See you soon in Mexico,” commented one of the athletes.

Marcio Axel González, who was on vacation in Israel, in an area that became risky due to the conflict in that area, will also return to Mexico.

“We are eternally grateful, because we are going to go to our country in peace and calm all together. Thank you very much, Mexico,” he highlighted.

Analice Valencia González, is infinitely grateful to the Government of Mexico, the Sedena and the Foreign Ministry, for the timely and humanitarian support they receive to be able to return home.

“Infinitely grateful, they don’t know how much that support comforts us, that help that they give to all of us Mexicans who come from various states,” she added.

It is estimated that the aircraft that transports Mexicans from Israel to our country will arrive at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Military Air Base number 1, Santa Lucía, in Zumpango, State of Mexico.

The aircraft is commanded by General Leodebardo Ávila Bojórquez, head of the delegation made up of personnel from the Secretariats of National Defense (Sedena) and Foreign Relations (SRE), in humanitarian aid to repatriate Mexican citizens who were stranded in cities of Israel, after the attacks by the Islamist group Hamas on the civilian population.

Reports detail that a total of 143 passengers are traveling on the plane; among them, four members of the Sedena delegation, a general, a chief, an officer and a troop element, as well as an SRE official.

Now back, the Boeing 737-800, registration 3528, will cover a route with stops in Anatolia, Turkey; Shannon, Ireland and Gander, in Canada, and bound for BAM 1, Saint Lucia.
