Due to the collapse of the Cuajilote bridge, several vehicles have had to be returned.
Guerrero, October 9, 2023.- Due to the intense rains generated by Storm Max, the total closure of the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo federal highway was reported, specifically near the Cuajilote bridge, located in the municipality of Técpan de Galeana.
The road that connects Técpan with Acapulco and from San Jerónimo to Zihuatanejo was impassable.
Personnel from the Guerrero Civil Protection Secretariat are already on site, delimiting the risk area and asking the population to take extreme precautions.
Due to the collapse of the Cuajilote bridge, several vehicles have had to be returned, leaving the road completely interrupted.
National Guard authorities arrived at the scene to protect the area and carry out the pertinent actions.
