Puerto Escondido, Oax. – Saturday, residents of Puerto Escondido managed to capture the formation of a tornado, which caused great astonishment among Oaxacans, who documented the moment on social networks.

Unofficially, it was announced that although the tornado was small, it destroyed the tin roofs of at least five homes and caused damage to several vehicles.

Likewise, authorities reported that several trees and cables fell as the tornado passed, with no injuries or fatalities reported so far.

It is worth mentioning that the effects of the newly formed tropical cyclone “Sixteenth-E” are about to arrive, which is located 320 kilometers south of Acapulco, Guerrero, and 450 kilometers south-southeast of Zihuatanejo, Guerrero.

The National Meteorological Service detailed that “Sixteenth-E” will cause occasional torrential rains in Oaxaca and Guerrero, as well as gusts of wind of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour and waves of one to three meters high.

On Monday, October 9, around 6:00 p.m., “Diecesis-E” is expected to make landfall in Guerrero as a tropical storm.
