Promoters of the entity’s Magical Towns, including tourism service providers, associations and local public servants, will participate in the event, confirmed the Secretary of Tourism (Sectur) of the state.
According to the state agency, one of the purposes of the flea market is to project Mexican towns as a tourist alternative for the country, through the presentation of traditions, customs, culture and tourist destinations.
During the three days, representatives from the seven destinations in the state that have the Pueblo Mágicos distinction will attend, including Amealco de Bonfil, Bernal (Ezequiel Montes delegation), Cadereyta de Montes, Jalpan de Serra, Pinal de Amoles, San Joaquín and Tequisquiapan.
This weekend, in addition to spreading the attractions of the state, it is planned to create business ties with American tour operators, in addition to encouraging sales of Queretaro crafts in the neighboring country.
For the exhibition of destinations, the entity will have a 27 square meter shelf to exhibit the characteristics, culture and attractions of the Magic Towns. A nine-square-meter space will also be installed to display local crafts.
