The group of armed men that assaulted the house of Spanish singer Miguel Bosé on August 18 was allegedly looking for Víctor Manuel Álvarez Puga, husband of television host Inés Gómez Mont, according to entertainment journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante.
Since September 2021, Víctor Manuel Álvarez Puga and Inés Gómez Mont have an arrest warrant and are wanted by Interpol in 194 countries and investigated for the crimes of embezzlement, money laundering, and tax evasion for 2.5 billion pesos.
On Tuesday, September 13th, during his YouTube channel broadcast, Mexican journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante, explained that the attack was not intended for the singer, but rather was to find Álvarez Puga, “who is close behind the Mexican authorities.”
The journalist added: “Bad guys want to catch him before the police do because if they put him behind bars he will no longer pay whatever and whoever he owes money.”
Infante added that “probably, one of the big shots to whom Álvarez Puga owes money could have sent the armed men to Rancho San Francisco”…
Rancho San Francisco is an uptown residential development located in an exclusive area of Mexico City’s Álvaro Obregón district.
