In a study carried out in the United States, it detects that fentanyl is being added to this drug

Mazatlán, Sin.- 90 percent of the people who are in a drug rehabilitation center in Mazatlán is for “cristal”, a narcotic whose consumption is increasing every day, assured Víctor Manuel Capaceta Emus.

The president and founder of the aid group “Red Rehabilita Sinaloa” warned that a study carried out by the United States on the Mexican border found fentanyl residues in this drug, which makes the effects on consumers stronger, but also addiction increases.

“The drug with the greatest impact in Mazatlán, that is, 90 percent of the people who are interned in a process, is for ‘cristal’. A study carried out by the United States at the border, in the  cristal bags, in the residues they found fentanyl, fentanyl is being added to the ‘glass’”.

On the other hand, Capaceta Emus expressed that drugs are strongly attacking youth, since the age of initial consumption in young people is between 13 and 17 years, however, he stressed that they have found cases of children who are 8 and older years begin to have contact with drugs.

Young people and adolescents enter this world after trying a substance out of curiosity, but this problem comes from home or from the environment in which they live.

The president and founder of the aid group “Red Rehabilita Sinaloa” said that in Mazatlan drugs have a greater impact on adolescents, that is to say that 64 percent of the cases were involved out of curiosity after hearing about the issue on social networks, but where they tested it is at home, school or park.

He urged citizens that if they have a family member or friend who is presenting an addiction problem, contact them through the Facebook page “Red Rehabilita Sinaloa”, where support and advice will be provided as soon as possible.
