85 years after being founded by President Lázaro Cárdenas, the CFE launches internet and telephone services with affordable prices for the population.
Recently,  the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) began to distribute its own Internet and mobile phone service in the Mexican Republic following the  ‘ Well-being ‘ line. Although it will initially focus on rural areas, it plans to expand throughout Mexico in the future.
The subsidiary is called CFE Telecomunicaciones e Internet para Todos ( Teit )  and ensures that its clients will be able to talk on the phone, send messages and surf the Internet with 4.5G technology.
The packages offer connection services per day, month, semester or year without forced deadlines. Next, we show you the packages that Teit displays on its official page:
- 30 pesos (4 GB, 250 minutes and 125 SMS valid for 3 days)
- 45 pesos (4 GB, 250 minutes and 125 SMS valid for 3 days)
- 100 pesos (20 GB, 1,000 minutes and 500 SMS valid for 15 days)
- 150 pesos (8 GB, 1,500 minutes and 500 SMS valid for 30 days)
- 200 pesos (40 GB, 1,500 minutes and 1,000 SMS valid for 30 days)
- 300 pesos (40 GB, 1,500 minutes and 1,000 SMS valid for 30 days with hotspot)
It should be noted that the CFE has a special offer. If the user makes the change of company to Teit, with only 30 pesos he acquires a package of 1 GB, 100 minutes and 50 SMS for a month). For semi-annual or annual coverage, the packages are as follows:
