The Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported on the arrest of Jaime Luis “N”, alias “El Pozolero” or “666”, the alleged leader of a cell of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) that operates in the area south of the State of Mexico, related to the clandestine grave found in a warehouse in Tenango del Valle.

Said man was arrested along with nine other alleged members of two criminal cells that generate high violence in the south and east of the state, as well as in the Toluca Valley.

The Prosecutor’s Office specified that the remains of possible victims of a criminal group have been located in the searched warehouse, buried under a concrete plate. “Preliminarily it is presumed to be of human origin, without their identity, sex or correspondence between them having been established so far.”

The FGJEM reported that, according to the investigation, it was possible to establish the alleged relationship of “El Pozolero” with the homicides that occurred in the Toluca Valley and in the southern region of the State of Mexico, for which the Agent of the Public Ministry requested the Judicial Authority to issue search warrants for properties identified as places of criminal activity.

Derived from this, they carry out various procedures and actions to clarify criminal acts that they may have perpetrated.

The injunctions were granted and executed, one of them in the municipality of Chapultepec, another in Toluca, and one more in Tenango del Valle. In the latter, remains of possible victims of those now detained have been located, which are presumed to be of human origin, without their identity, sex or correspondence between them having been established so far since the uprising and corresponding forensic processes.
