It is noteworthy that Marín Mollinedo, who served as general director of the Interoceanic Corridor of the Tehuantepec Isthmus (CIIT) and head of the Federal Authority for the Development of Special Economic Zones, also held the position of director of Urban Services of the Federal District, from 2000 to 2006, when López Obrador was the mayor of Mexico City.
It should be noted that Marín Mollinedo is also a cousin of Nicolás Mollinedo Bastar, who was the driver of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for many years.
