The city of Nantes was the setting for almost 1,500 entrepreneurs from the tourism sector to meet at the most important tourism fair in France Rendez-Vous, which took place on March 22 and 23 of this year.
In the 2022 edition of Rendez-Vous France, there was a large participation of the Mexican delegation, made up of 16 tour operators and travel agencies, as well as two journalists.
It is the first time in the history of the fair that Mexico has so much participation with buyers from important companies such as BCD Travel, Corporate Travel Services, Ferrara Viajes, Grupo Nuba, Mundo Cruceros y Viajes, Navitur by Petra, Petra Operador, Sevilla Sol Viajes, Travel Associates, Travel Leaders, Travel Shop Operadora, Viajes Intermex, Viajes Palacio and Villa Tours.
In addition, 668 French companies were able to present the best of the French tourist offer to international tour operators. An offer that, in the last two years, has been renewed a lot.
New facilities and new tourist places have been created; travel experiences have been created in tune with the new aspirations of travellers, in particular in terms of sustainable development and digitization of services.
Despite the restrictions on international mobility, the Atout France teams, thanks to their network of offices implemented around the world, were able to mobilize nearly 600 tourism professionals from 57 countries (compared to 788 in the last edition of the event in 2019). .
The vast majority (57.5%) of buyers came from Europe: Great Britain, Germany, Italy and Central Europe. Tour operators from North and South America (20%) also responded present.
