A group of four hooded women, identified as those who maintain “the Okupa House” on República de Cuba street, in the Historic Center, attacked the car of a woman who allegedly refused to give them money.
The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) reported that it began an investigation for the crimes of theft from a passer-by and malicious property damage to a vehicle.
The fact was revealed on the night of Wednesday the 13th, after the singer and songwriter Nnux uploaded photos and a video of the attack to her Twitter account, and assured that the woman who was in the car is her mother. She clarified that she was not injured, only her car.
“Today my mother was attacked outside the Okupa house on Cuba Street by 4 hooded women. My mom was inside the car when she was attacked. I am furious and very sad that these things are being done in the name of feminism,” she wrote @nnux.

The attack occurred last Wednesday on República de Cuba street, Colonia Centro, Cuauhtémoc City Hall, near one of the headquarters of the National Human Rights Commission that was taken over by feminists in early September 2020.
Presumably, the driver was driving down that street and the hooded women – identified as feminists from the Black Bloc – blocked her way to demand money in exchange for letting her pass.
The woman refused, a fact that angered the hooded women, who began to hit the front and rear windows of the car with tubes and elongated objects, while the driver was still inside. They also spray painted it.

When the door is left open, one of the aggressors gets into the car and presumably extracts something from the interior, apparently the victim’s cell phone. At the same time, the woman with the megaphone says “We are worse. That’s nothing. We are capable of doing more.”
The assault occurs in full view of multiple people from the surrounding premises, as well as bystanders, but none do anything.
After the attack, the victim went to the Public Ministry at the Territorial Investigation Prosecutor’s Office in Benito Juárez, attached to the General Coordination of Territorial Investigation, where the investigation folder and multidisciplinary staff of the General Directorate of Attention to Victims, of the General Coordination for the Investigation of Gender Crimes, provided the corresponding assistance, according to the local FGJ.
In an information card, the authority said that the Investigative Police (PDI) would begin the search for witnesses to the events, as well as to collect public video recordings and private cameras.
