A TRADITION AMONG THE STUDENT COMMUNITY
On the last day of classes, before the Easter holidays, it has become a tradition to hold the “playazo”, a pure Mexican-style spring break, where dozens of young students congregate.
The first “playazo” was in 1983 in the southern part of Tamaulipas, in order to say goodbye to schoolmates who are foreigners, later, this beach, sand, and sun event spread to other schools, until that little by little whole families were adopting it.
So if you can’t go to celebrate the end of classes at Miramar beach in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, you have another opportunity to join friends and family, where you can enjoy refreshing drinks, extensive cuisine, and an excellent atmosphere.
