Cash withdrawals will not be conditional on a purchase.

Starting today, Banregio and Hey Banco account holders will be able to withdraw money from the more than 19,000 Oxxo branches throughout the country, the convenience store said.

He explained that cash withdrawals will not be conditional on a purchase, and may be made directly in cash, for amounts of up to two thousand pesos.

“We are excited to announce the cash withdrawal service for Banregio and Hey Banco account holders. With actions like this, at Oxxo we endorse the commitment to improve the value proposition for our clients and promote financial inclusion in Mexico”, said Santiago Rivera Botero, Director of Services at Oxxo.

Oxxo, Banregio, and Hey Banco have had an alliance since last August when the correspondent service began, so this cash withdrawal service is added to those for deposits and card payments.

Oxxo currently offers a wide range of electronic and financial services such as cash withdrawals, remittances, money transfers, and payment services.

Other banks that have an alliance with Oxxo for deposits, payment, or money withdrawal services are BBVA, Santander, Scotiabank, Bancoppel, among others.

If you are a Scotiabank, Banbajío, Inbursa, or Mifel customer, at Banregio you can make withdrawals and inquiries at no cost at all our ATMs.
