With this opening, Costco consolidates 40 stores in Mexico and 816 around the world. Which were distributed in 564 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 105 in Canada, 30 in Japan, 29 in the United Kingdom, 16 in Korea, 14 in Taiwan, 12 in Australia, three in Spain, and one in Iceland, France, and China.

Costco also operates e-commerce sites in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia.

Even on November 18, Costco Wholesale Co. bought about 17 acres in the World Commerce Center in St. Augustine to build a 162,000-square-foot store that will include a tire center, a liquor store, and a gas station.

Construction is expected to begin this month and the opening is scheduled for the end of the second quarter of 2022.
