“A very affectionate greeting to President Biden and the invitation for him to visit us whenever he can,” said Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) again extended the invitation to President Joe Biden to visit Mexico and continue the dialogue.
The president sent greetings and the new invitation to his counterpart, through the US delegation, during the High-Level Security Dialogue between Mexico and the United States.
“I am very pleased that you are here. I want to send a very affectionate greeting to President Joe Biden and an invitation to come down to Mexico when he can, it will be an honor if he visits us, ”he said.
López Obrador took the opportunity to recognize the United States ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, for being a good representative. He said that he has sponsored the friendship between the two countries.
It is not the first time that the president invites Biden to Mexican territory. In fact, he was among the guests at the commemorations last September, the date on which the anniversary of the Independence of Mexico was celebrated.
