AMLO said in Tlaxcala that on November 20 Mexico will celebrate the first "great assembly" to commemorate the Mexican Revolution, in Mexico City Zócalo

During his visit to Tlaxcala, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed that as the vaccination strategy in the country advances and because “people already want to see and listen each other directly”, the public squares of Mexico will be opened for the development of “great assemblies”.

The first massive event after 20 months of a pandemic will be in the Zócalo of Mexico City, to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution.

However, according to the official calendar of holidays, the concentration would be on Monday, November 15, in commemoration of the 20th, the only remaining date of the year when there will be a long weekend.

When supervising the welfare programs in the entity yesterday afternoon and after what he described as the “slamming door”, which occurred in the morning during his visit to Huauchinango, in the north of Puebla, the president said that the people no longer want everything to be it through the internet or television.
