The Popocatépetl volcano emitted 130 exhalations, accompanied by volcanic gases and slight amounts of ash in the last 24 hours, reported the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred).

The National Center for Disaster Prevention pointed out that dangerous ballistic fragments could fall in the nearby areas, and in case of heavy rains, citizens must stay away from the bottom of ravines due to the danger of mud and debris flows.
Popocatepetl had 130 exhalations, 379 minutes of tremor, and three explosions added the CENAPRED.
In the morning, Cenapred indicated that two explosions generated columns of steam, gases and low ash content.
