Activists from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT +) community protested for an hour at the entrance to the Guerrero State Congress, within the framework of the installation of the sixty-third legislature, to demand that they take their rights into account.

The protest began minutes after 10:30 in the morning, while inside the headquarters of the Legislative Power the installation of the 63rd Legislature was taking place.

The protesters demanded that the incoming local deputies pass a gender identity law, equal marriage law and the criminalization of hate crimes.

The activist Ricardo Locia indicated that the gender identity law would speed up the legal processes to change the name of trans women and, in the case of the classification of hate crimes, that the violence should not be made invisible to the members of the community.
