A group of 14 Oaxacan musicians participates in the presentation of the Music Band and Folkloric Ballet of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), at the international festival Spasskaya Tower 2021, which takes place in Moscow, Russia, from August 27 to September 5.
The Mexican representation made up of 74 people – 14 of whom come from different regions of Oaxaca – prepared for three and a half months in a row, to display their presentation in Moscow’s Red Square.
Part of the repertoire they present includes pieces such as La Marcha de Zacatecas, Guadalajara, Huapango de Moncayo, Danzón No. 2, La Conga del Fuego Nuevo, some marches, God never dies, among other recognized pieces of Mexican music.
