Copper Canyon “El Chepe” train has not resumed travel

Los Mochis, Sinaloa. – The rains continue in the mountains on the limits of Chihuahua and Sinaloa and as a consequence of these climatic conditions, it is not yet scheduled to resume the runs of the regional Chepe, nor the Chepe Express.

Weather forecasts are being studied on time, but as the abundant rains continue, there are no conditions for the safe departure of the trains, detailed Fernando Martínez Pazos, delegate of section 4 of the Union of Railroad Workers of the Mexican Republic (STFRM).
