Facing the summer vacation period, Cancun International Airport reported 420 operations until yesterday, after registering almost 500 over the weekend without any restriction for the arrival of tourists
Hundreds of national or international tourists continue their arrival at the Cancun International Airport (AIC ), while Quintana Roo keeps the epidemiological traffic light in orange due to the rise in Covid-19 cases.
Facing the summer vacation period, the air terminal of that beach destination reported 420 operations until yesterday, after registering almost 500 over the weekend without any restriction for the arrival of tourists from different parts of the world and from Mexico.
Meanwhile, in social networks, thousands of users criticize the incessant traffic of passengers who arrive in Cancun and demand that the authorities request proof of Covid-19 from those who wish to vacation in the Mexican Caribbean as happens in other countries.
Images disseminated on social networks show how hundreds of travelers gather at the three terminals of the AIC during peak hours, while connections continue with 40 cities around the world, such as Istanbul, Madrid, Paris, and Zurich.
