Vaccination in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area 50 to 59: when does it start and how to register

People ages 50-59 and pregnant women will get the first dose, but the appointment process is different

In Jalisco, the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 for people aged 50 to 59 and pregnant women has already reached the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (ZMG). This Wednesday the first dose began to be applied in Zapotlanejo, and from next week it will be the turn of three other municipalities.

Through a statement, the state government reported that as of May 31, vaccination begins in Tonalá, El Salto and Tlajomulco. To carry out the sessions, two macromodules will be re-enabled, as was done in the interior of the state:

* For pregnant women (of legal age and with more than nine weeks of gestation): Museum of the Army and Air Force , in calle Valentín Gómez Farías 600, Colonia Reforma Guadalajara.

* For people from 50 to 59 years old: Benito Juárez Auditorium, in Avenida Mariano Barcena s / n, Auditorio neighborhood, Zapopan.

The two macro-units will operate from 09:00 in the morning to 14:00 in the afternoon. Citizens who reside in Tonalá, El Salto and Tlajomulco and are part of the groups called, must obtain an appointment through the Internet. However, for the ZMG the record is different. We give you all the details.

How is registration done for Tonalá, El Salto and Tlajomulco?

People from 50 to 59 years old, and pregnant women who meet the requirements and reside in Tonalá, El Salto or Tlajomulco, must follow two steps to schedule their appointment:

Step 1: complete the registration in the federal portal

* Enter the federal government website by clicking on mivacuna.salu.gob. Anyone within the indicated age range may register.

* Indicate your CURP and follow the instructions until your “Vaccination Record” appears, which you must print to be able to deliver it the day you go to the headquarters to get vaccinated.

Step 2: register on the state page

After getting your federal Immunization Record, you must enter the state government portal. On this page, you will get the date, time, and place that you were assigned to receive the first dose.

* Enter the state government website by clicking on vaccination.jalisco.gob.mx. The summoned citizens of Tonalá, El Salto, and Tlajomulco can now access.

* Indicate your CURP and Postal Code (CP).

* Complete your general data.

* You will receive an email with a QR Code that you must print and also present in the Macro Vaccination Module.

Documents that you must bring the day of the appointment

Upon arrival at the vaccination macromodule you must present:

* Federal platform format, called “Vaccination File”, printed and duly completed with your data.

* A pen or ballpoint pen.

* Printed invitation format with the “QR” type codes of the state platform.

* Valid and official identification with photograph.

* Proof of address that proves that you live in one of the convened municipalities. Your INE can be considered as proof of address, as long as the municipalities indicated for vaccination are).

From the government of Jalisco they clarify that the people who will not apply the dose to people who are missing any of the aforementioned documents.

General recommendations for the appointment:

* Take your medicines and / or food in the usual way.

* Use face masks at all times.

* Respect social distancing.

* Bring a pen or pen.

* Do not go to get vaccinated if you are sick or have a fever.

* Respect all sanitary protocols and hygiene measures.

* Arrive at the indicated time, maximum 10 minutes before your scheduled time.

* Do not carry chairs, benches, boats or any other object that serves as a seat.

* Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and in case of rain, an umbrella or a raincoat.

* In the case of pregnant women who require it, they may bring a companion.

In which other municipalities in Jalisco is the vaccine being applied?

This week, in addition, the first dose is being applied to people between 50 and 59 years old and pregnant women from other municipalities, outside the ZMG.

In Ameca, Tepatitlán, Ocotlán and Lagos de Moreno it began on May 26 and will continue until Saturday May 29. In addition, this Thursday the 27th the vaccination also began in Ciudad Guzmán. In all these demarcations, Astrazeneca serum was administered .
