San Luis Potosí opens a logistics center projected to be the largest in Mexico

Node Park will work in conjunction with Kansas City Southern, to offer 40 hectares to house merchandise in up to 80 rail cars.

San Luis Potosí has ​​a new Strategic Fiscalized Precinct (RFE), this is the new commitment by TUBESA, a Mexican company installed for 44 years in the Industrial Zone of San Luis Potosí and that from now on offers comprehensive logistics services through Node Park.

Luis Gonzaga, general director of Node Park explained that in the habilitation of this enclosure they work in conjunction with the Kansas City Southern railway, and 10 million dollars were invested for the equipment, the installation consists of 36 thousand square meters and a circuit of railroad on an area of ​​more than 40 hectares with the capacity to house up to 80 container wagons.

Through this new logistics distribution point, it will be possible to strengthen the integration of the markets of the United States and Canada through the railroad to carry out import operations without paying taxes, and any process within the enclosure will only pay when the sale of the merchandise has already been consolidated.

“San Luis is a Node in communications and transportation, both roads and railways, in addition to the high industrial content to export under the new USMCA rules,” he added.

Node Park will start operations with at least 15 companies, its services are aimed at being the most important Comprehensive Logistics Center for Heavy Loads in the country, as it has a railway spur, large industrial cranes, equipment, and oversized warehouses suitable for cargo and discharge as well as storage.

Those who come to this place will be able to connect their products to the ports of Mazatlan, Sinaloa; Altamira and Tampico in Tamaulipas; Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán; Manzanillo, Colima; Veracruz, Veracruz, as well as Brownsville, Texas, in the United States.
