UNIQUE things to do in Mazatlan, Edition #2, Observatory 1873

2016

By Stacey Kushniruk-Blondie in Mexico

All things Unique in Mazatlan that I find I will documenting for all of you to enjoy.

Come along with me today as I explore the grounds of the Observatory 1873 in Mazatlan, Mexico. We will be taking a cable car up to the top where we will be checking out the beautiful landscaping, a bird sanctuary with 47 rescue birds, an agave garden with 14 different kinds of agave, the history of tequila, and the Sky Bar with panoramic views of the city and ocean, where we will enjoy a glass of vino.

A guided tour is recommended so you can learn about all the history this place has to offer.

This is for sure one of the most beautiful places I have found so far in my 3 years in Mazatlan MX. So I highly recommend you going and seeing for yourself. I had many ‘in awe’ moments while touring the grounds.
