For its part, the Alfredo Harp Helú Foundation shared some recommendations to avoid forest fires
• Avoid throwing cigarette butts
• Avoid making bonfires in wooded areas.
• If you see a fire, report it so it can be put out in time.
• And help reforestation.
Given the fires that have been reported in recent days in Oaxaca, the Environment Coordination supported with the social reforestation program promoted by the FAHHO, 10,000 trees for 10 affected hectares of the Santo Tomás Quieri forest.
