A senior citizen delivers note to nurse who vaccinated her in Iztapalapa, CDMX: Help, at home they mistreat me

After receiving the note from the older adult, staff from the vaccination center requested the support of public security agents to help her.

Mexico City, April 4 (However) .- During the COVID-19 vaccination day at the Iztapalapa Mayor’s Office, in Mexico City, an 85-year-old woman requested help to be rescued from her relatives, whom she accused to keep her locked up and threaten her physical integrity.

After receiving the vaccine, the older adult took the opportunity to deliver a note to the nurse who administered the dose against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

On the note, she explained that her companions kept her locked up in her home and kept her in deplorable conditions. In addition, she assured that she suffered humiliations, for which she requested the support to call the authorities of Mexico City.

The events occurred at the vaccination center established at Vocational School Number 7, located on Ermita Iztapalapa avenue, Santa María Aztahuacán neighborhood.

Personnel from the legal department of the Iztapalapa Mayor’s Office told the authorities that the citizen went to the vaccination center in the company of a couple and gave the note to the nurse who gave her the injection.

The person in charge called the SSC officers and presented the evidence that the woman provided, so at that moment, they immediately took her to a safe place, where her case will be followed up.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old woman identified as the complainant’s daughter and the 59-year-old man, the complainant’s son-in-law, were arrested and presented to the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will define their legal situation and carry out the pertinent investigations.
