Regarding the accumulated cases by residence entity, the first 10 entities that accumulate the highest number of cases are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Nuevo León, Jalisco, Puebla, Sonora, Coahuila, Querétaro and Tabasco, which in Together they make up about two thirds (68%) of all accumulated cases registered in the country.

By calculating the estimated active cases (most suspected active cases with a start date of the last 14 days by the positivity index, by entity and epidemiological week), Mexico City and the State of Mexico are the entities with the highest number of cases estimated assets (> 3,000 cases). At the national level, an estimated 32,833 active cases are calculated.

This Thursday Mexico received a shipment of AstraZeneca cradles packed against COVID-19 with one million 208 thousand 700 doses. This is the second installment as a result of the agreement between the presidents of Mexico and the United States.

Adding the shipment on March 28 and last night’s most recent shipment, a total of 2,719,300 AstraZeneca vaccines are packaged against COVID-19 to continue vaccinating the country’s older adults.
