About 61 percent of the people who have died in Mexico from coronavirus did not have any comorbidity that could complicate their condition, according to data from the Ministry of Health collected by UNAM.

According to what was presented, around  114 thousand 707 people who died from covid-19 in the country did not have any disease identified as risky.

Coronavirus cases in Mexico by state The City of Mexico and the State of Mexico are the states with the highest estimated number of active cases; while Campeche has the lowest figure.

The country’s capital also has the highest incidence rate of active and accumulated coronavirus cases, with 199 and  6,237 per 100,000 inhabitants.

Meanwhile, the fatality rate of coronavirus in the country is 8.9 percent, which implies that around 8 people have died for every 100 who have been infected.
