Mexico Secretary of the Navy tests positive for Covid-19 for the second time

Rafael Ojeda Durán, Mexico Secretary of the Navy (Semar), reported through his social networks that he tested positive for the coronavirus, covid-19 for the second time. He said he will remain isolated and will follow all medical indications.

Through his Twitter account, Secretary Rafael Ojeda Durán revealed that he is in isolation after having tested positive for covid-19: “I share with you that as of today I will be working in isolation from home, after having tested positive for COVID-19,” he wrote. 

Secretary of the Navy tests positive for covid-19, reports AMLO Likewise, he announced that he will continue with his remote work to serve Mexico with the support of the secretary he presides. “I will follow the medical treatment and I will continue with my work to Serve Mexico by supporting the staff of @SEMAR_mx,” he shared.

Secretary of the Navy (Semar) Rafael Ojeda’s first contagion to covid-19 was back in October 2020.

It was President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who on that occasion, during his visit to the Ángel Albino Corzo dam, in Ostuacán, Chiapas, reported:  “On this occasion, Admiral Ojeda is not accompanying us because he is affected by Covid-19. Fortunately, he is fine and that is why who represents him is here, ”he said. 

On Twitter, Admiral Ojeda Durán -on that occasion- reported that he would be in isolation as he was asymptomatic,  but he will continue to monitor his work from home following medical indications.  “I share with you that from now on I will be in isolation for testing positive for Covid-19. I am asymptomatic and I will continue working from home following medical indications and supporting myself with the Senior Navy Officials to continue our work,” he wrote.
