Mazatlán and Culiacán lead the list of new Covid-19 cases

In the last 24 hours, 12 deaths were reported in Sinaloa

Sinaloa.- The Ministry of Health in Sinaloa (SSS) reported that four municipalities are with high numbers of infections, it is Culiacán and Guasave that are in red, while Ahome and Mazatlán are blue at the traffic light local epidemiological.

There are 98 new cases this Sunday, January 17: in Culiacán 46, Mazatlán 24, Guasave 9, Ahome 7, Salvador Alvarado 7, Badiraguato 4 and Mocorito 1.

Active patients are 777 throughout Sinaloa and as of today there are 32 new recovered patients. In total, of 100 percent of active cases, 31.7 percent are hospitalized, leaving 69 percent of Covid-19 beds in the state.

According to the health sector, in the last 24 hours there have been 12 new deaths; from Culiacán 5, from Guasave 2, Ahome 2, Mazatlán 2 and Salvador Alvarado 1.

In the only municipality in Sinaloa where there is no suspicion of people with the virus, it is in Concordia.
