70% of beds with a fan are occupied in CDMX

70.55 percent of the beds with a ventilator in Mexico City, that is, those required by critical patients with Covid-19, are occupied, according to the latest report from the SARI Network.

In total, there are 98 medical units with 70 percent or more occupancy of ventilator beds in intensive care units; and 115 units that are not intensive care but were fitted with ventilator beds.

In addition, there are 183 medical units with 70 percent or more bed occupancy in general hospitalization.

In an internal report from the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) it is reported that there are only beds available in five hospitals in the Capital and the State of Mexico, with a maximum of five per unit.
