Most of them were clubs and bars; a business was temporarily closed

Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The Mayor Official of the Mazatlán City Council, Javier Lira González, reported that last week 17 violations were filed against different establishments, as well as a temporary closure of a business.

“In the week there were 17 minutes, a party room was suspended, all rooms were reviewed and one was suspended,” he explained.

Lira González said that the sanctions that were applied were because one did not have an operating license, others because they did not comply with certain protocols, and the others because of minor situations.

The municipal official added that this time there were no agglomerations of people since the owners or managers of the businesses took charge so that people did not gather inside and outside.

“The operation this past weekend was made up of three groups, Civil Protection, Network Operative, and Mayor’s Office, and on occasions, people from Profeco and Municipal Ecology participated, and everything was and developed in a calm manner,” he said.
