Viva Aerobus expands connectivity from Mexico City

With two frequencies a week on Thursdays and Sundays, as of November 12, Viva Aerobus will begin operating its new Mexico City-Acapulco flight, with an introductory rate of $ 279 pesos for a single trip, plus payment for the TUA Airport Use Fee. With these actions, the airline in charge of Juan Carlos Zuazua continues its commitment to reactivating connectivity and betting on Mexico, the company said in a statement.

“I appreciate the effort and interest of Viva Aerobus in opening this new route to Acapulco, which will provide greater confidence to the domestic market. Viva is a great commercial partner for Guerrero with whom we will maintain the commitment to continue working to strengthen our great alliance with new routes, ”said Guerrero’s Secretary of Tourism, Ernesto Rodríguez Escalona.

This new route was announced within the framework of the virtual meeting of the Guerrero Connectivity Committee, an event that had the participation of the State Secretary of Tourism, Ernesto Rodríguez Escalona, ​​on behalf of the State Governor, Héctor Astudillo Flores; the Municipal Tourism Secretary, José Luis Basilio Talavera; the president of the Acapulco Tourism Promotion Trust (Fidetur), Eligio Serna; the Operating Director of Fidetur, Daniel Arturo Torres and the administrator of the Acapulco Airport, Román Martínez, among other local authorities.

Likewise, as a result of the reactivation of the airline, Viva Aerobus also reported the restart of the Oaxaca-Mexico City route, starting on October 1, with four flights a week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, with a price of introduction of $ 139 pesos in a single trip plus TUA.

“The return of the Mexico City – Oaxaca service occurs at a strategic moment for the responsible reactivation of tourism and commerce in the state. This route is a safe, efficient and reliable contact bridge for passengers and promotes the competitiveness and economic recovery of Oaxaca. Together, as business partners, we will take care of those who visit our city with all the sanitary measures ”, mentioned the Secretary of Tourism of Oaxaca, Juan Carlos Rivera Castellanos.

In September, the airline increased its services to reach a total of 95 available routes and an operation above 80% of its capacity.
