As Sinaloa is one of the states with the highest number of COVID-19 infections, human rights promoters demand measures to prevent more infections; AMLO assured that the case will be investigated

During the press conference, there was an alert about the transfer of agricultural day laborers from Sinaloa, one of the entities most affected by COVID-19 to communities in Guerrero.

It was indicated that a group of human rights defenders request an immediate review of this situation since, at this time, people, where the pandemic is more widespread, cannot be allowed to move to areas where there is marked vulnerability to local Indigenous groups that inhabit the area

In this regard, the President of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that the case will be analyzed immediately because this cannot be allowed.

“This type of activity cannot be allowed, we must take care that there is no contagion and we will see to it immediately in the case of the day laborers.”

The complaint focused on the fact that in that area of ​​the Guerrero mountain there are 70 buses with agricultural laborers from Sinaloa, which has the area under hight tensions and at the risk of contagion.
