Although the Corona Capital Guadalajara festival announced it will be rescheduled to September 12, and 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organizers will host a virtual edition.

It will be broadcast on its Facebook and YouTube accounts where music lovers will be able to remember the best moments of previous editions.

The virtual event will take place in three days (May 2, 9, and 16) that will include interviews and special guests as well as unpublished material to delight the viewers.

“Since its first edition, Corona Capital has been an example of erasing borders by being a festival that broke musical barriers by presenting the best of the international alternative offer in Mexico. They are now ten chapters of a story full of anecdotes that will continue to be written, ”said Alejandra Castilla, Corona’s Entertainment Manager.

On May 2, the event will be directed by broadcasters Francisco Alanís “Sopitas”, Ileana Rodríguez “Reclu”, and Javier Aceves “Baxter.”

Leo Arriaga and Antonio Espinosa “Korno”, and Leonora Milán, will direct the second program on May 9.

All of them will be together on May 16 to give surprises with some bands from the original lineup.

The three broadcasts will begin at 21:00.

The poster of the third edition of the Corona Capital Guadalajara music festival was revealed on January 22, 2020.
