Simon Levy is a doctor in law, a postdoctoral researcher in data science at the University of California, Berkeley, and one of the few Western voices deeply trained at the School of Law at the People’s University of China in Beijing.
In 2018, Simón Levy joined the Morena party and, within the government of then-President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, served as Undersecretary of Planning and Tourism Policy at the Ministry of Tourism.
However, his time with Morena was brief, and on April 12, 2019, Simón Levy announced his resignation from the Undersecretary of Tourism position, supposedly for “strictly personal” reasons.
From that moment on, Simón Levy became one of the most vocal critics of López Obrador, the Morena party, and the Fourth Transformation, disseminating all kinds of evidence on social media that revealed the high levels of corruption within the movement.

I am making public a propaganda operation currently running inside the United States by the Mexican Morena political party.
It is being distributed free of charge to Mexican migrant communities across American territory, and financed, as investigative journalism has documented, with money linked to narco-trafficking and fuel theft. This is the February 2026 edition of Regeneración — Morena’s official newspaper. It is not being distributed in Mexico. It is being distributed in the United States.
Here is what it says: → That the United States is an imperial aggressor in decline. → That any Mexican who welcomes U.S. cooperation against the cartels is a traitor to the homeland. → That Morena defends sovereignty. Everyone else serves Washington. → That military cooperation between Mexico and the U.S. would be “irrational and aggressive.” This is not journalism. This is psychological warfare directed at Mexican-American communities on U.S. soil, designed to poison their relationship with the country they now call home.
American political consultant and writer, Peter Schweizer (@peterschweizer) warned about exactly this pattern: foreign political machines operating inside the United States to reshape the loyalties of diaspora communities. This is it. In print. Freely distributed. Now the question that cannot be ignored: who pays for this?
Multiple investigative reports have documented that Morena built its political machine with financing linked to organized crime — specifically narco-trafficking and huachicol, the billion-dollar fuel theft network that operated with documented ties to Morena politicians across Tamaulipas and Sinaloa. A party with documented links to cartel financing is printing and distributing political propaganda to your community. Inside the United States. This is not an isolated incident.
It follows a pattern. Nicolás Maduro was formally indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice for narco-terrorism accused of conspiring to flood the United States with cocaine while running a state. He was captured in January 2026. AMLO follows the same documented logic. The same financiers. The same structure. The U.S. Department of Justice holds a 192-page file on López Obrador and Morena leadership. There are at least two open federal investigations in Brooklyn.
The evidence is not missing. What has been missing, until now is political will. That calculus is changing. I am making this public because what circulates in the shadows only has power in the dark. What gets documented cannot be denied.
