Mexico recorded 138 homicides across the country over the weekend, according to a report from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP).

Even though President Claudia Sheinbaum and Public Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch continually present graphs in their morning press conferences that supposedly show declining homicide rates nationwide, the reality is that dozens of citizens continue to die violently every day in Mexico.
And this information is collected directly from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP), that is, from an official body that depends directly on the Sheinbaum administration.
