Nayarit boasts stability and seeks to consolidate its position as the safest state in the country

Governor Miguel Ángel Quintero held meetings with Omar García Harfuch and Supreme Court justices to strengthen coordination on security and justice matters.

The governor of Nayarit, Miguel Ángel Quintero, met with the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch, to review the progress of the state’s security strategy and agree on new joint actions.

During the meeting, held in Mexico City, both officials emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination among the three levels of government to guarantee peace and stability in the state.

According to the governor, Nayarit is currently one of the most stable states in the country, and the goal is to continue reinforcing public policies that strengthen citizen trust in institutions.

“With the support of the government of the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, we will continue to implement a joint strategy to maintain security and justice in the state,” Quintero stated.

Later, the governor held a second meeting with the president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), Hugo Aguilar Ortiz, as well as with justices of the highest court, including Azael Figueroa, a native of Nayarit.

In the meeting, the governor reaffirmed that his administration is working to consolidate Nayarit as a state with a transparent judiciary, close to the citizens and with a vision for the future, capable of responding to social needs and strengthening the rule of law.

Finally, Quintero emphasized that his government will maintain permanent coordination with the federal security cabinet and the judiciary to preserve social peace and guarantee sustainable institutional development in Nayarit.
