The Dallas Mavericks are making their presence felt in the Sultana del Norte. The American team made its mark in Monterrey with the help of former Mexican basketball player and former Texan national team member Eduardo Nájera.

As part of the “Éne-Bé-A Nights” celebration, a League initiative that celebrates NBA players and fans throughout Latin America and its Hispanic communities in the United States, the Dallas Mavericks inaugurated a basketball court in the Churubusco Sports City.

Various youth clinics were also held with the support of some members of the Mavericks.

In addition to the former Chihuahua basketball player, the event was also attended by former Mavs player Rolando Blackman, Monterrey Mayor Adrián De La Garza Santos, and other prominent figures.
