Federal authorities seized six kilos of fentanyl at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), which came from Acapulco, Guerrero, and was destined for New Jersey, on the East Coast of the United States.
In an official statement, authorities indicated that the drug was intercepted by the coordinated work between security forces and airport protection.
The package, valued at 48.7 million pesos (2.4 million USD), was seized by the GN and Aviation Security, as part of the strategies to combat drug trafficking in Mexico.
