As part of the security and surveillance reinforcement work in the state of Chihuahua, agents of the National Defense Secretariat (Defensa), National Guard (GN), Navy Secretariat (Semar), Attorney General’s Office (FGR), the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), together with the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Chihuahua arrested a subject identified as the leader of a criminal organization.
As a result of intelligence work and surveillance tours in Ciudad Juárez, security elements contacted the driver of a speeding vehicle, who was stopped because of the possibility of a criminal act.
The arrest was recorded in the vicinity of the Ciudad Juarez Frontera neighborhood, where the agents observed packages with synthetic drugs inside the backseat of the vehicle, so they immediately inspected the unit.
For the above, the man was arrested, informed of his constitutional rights, and placed at the disposal of the corresponding agent of the Public Ministry, along with the seized items, who will determine his legal situation and continue with the corresponding investigations.
