David Noel Ramírez Padilla, recognized as Rector Emeritus of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, died today at the age of 75, according to the media Reforma.
His legacy as an educational leader, academic, and promoter of ethical and social values has left a deep mark on the institution and Mexican society.
David Noel Ramírez Padilla was born on January 12, 1950, in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco.
From a young age, he demonstrated a great commitment to education and professional development, which led him to become an emblematic figure of the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a reference in the educational and business fields of Mexico and Latin America, the university said in his profile.
David Noel Ramírez graduated as a Certified Public Accountant with honors from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1972. He subsequently earned a Master’s Degree in Administration with a specialty in Finance, also with honors, in 1974, from the same institution.
