On Saturday, January 18th, three men were executed in Oaxaca City, including a transport leader.
Three men were executed early Saturday morning in the parking lot of the Office Depot store on Avenida Universidad in front of Plaza del Valle on the border of the municipalities of Oaxaca de Juárez and San Antonio de la Cal and Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán.
According to the first reports, one of the deceased is Caleb Rodríguez Ortega, transport leader of the Confederation of Workers of Mexico (CTM) and former candidate of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) for the municipal presidency of San Pedro Pochutla, in the Costa region of the state of Oaxaca.
The other two victims were identified as Uriel “N” and Marcos “N”, although the mechanics of the events are unknown, it was reported that they were people who organized drag races on Avenida Universidad on weekends.
No arrests have been reported in relation to this triple homicide.
