In the state of Oaxaca, seven people were arrested with multiple doses of drugs, firearms, and cash. Preliminary reports indicate that they belong to a criminal cell dedicated to drug dealing.

The arrests were carried out in the municipality of Santiago Jamiltepec as part of the anti-narcotics operations deployed in the coastal region. Elements of the State Police, the National Guard, and the Mexican Army participated in these tasks.

When the authorities were carrying out security and prevention patrols on the main street of the town of Patria Nueva, they observed a group of subjects who tried to flee upon noticing their presence. This led to a ground chase to intercept these individuals.

Seven people (six men and one woman) were arrested.

150 doses of crystal meth and marijuana were seized, as well as firearms, two motorcycles, cash and gram scales.
