Criminal groups set fire to restaurants in Culiacán allegedly linked to a local influencer.
On the morning of Thursday, November 28, multiple fires were recorded in the capital of the state of Sinaloa caused by armed groups in two branches of the Ranch Roll restaurant.
The business is linked to the influencer known as Markitos Toys for the publicity that he has made to his branches, although it is unknown if he is linked to the criminals who committed the attack.
The Culiacán Fire Department came as first responders to put out the fire, but while they were carrying out their work they heard some gunshots, so they temporarily interrupted their actions.
Initially, it was reported that the firefighters had received threats to prevent them from putting out the fire, but this information was denied at a press conference by the Undersecretary of Public Security,
In what was the beginning of a violent day, other parts of the city registered shootings that left at least five people dead.
