A US war veteran who was traveling as a tourist was injured in the early hours of this Saturday, November 23, in Caborca, Sonora.
They were traveling from Puerto Peñasco to Nogales when an armed group attacked them, the 44-year-old victim received 3 bullets.

Authorities reported that Jason “N” and Robert “N” were traveling in a Jeep-type vehicle when they were attacked.
Two American tourists were injured after being attacked by an armed group, during the early hours of this Saturday in Caborca, Sonora.
The events were recorded around 01:00 hours at the height of 8th Street and Antimonio Avenue in the Industrial neighborhood.
The State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) of Sonora reported that in coordination with security institutions, they are working on the investigation to clarify the acts of violence that occurred early this morning, November 23, where no deaths were reported.
Two people were injured in the incident, identified as Jason “N” and Robert “N”, who were traveling in a Jeep-type vehicle when they were attacked. They later received medical attention and were transferred to a hospital for recovery.
Unofficially, it was reported that Jason, 44 years old, is a US war veteran.
It should be remembered that on the night of October 18, on the Altar-Caborca highway, US Marine Nicholas Douglas Quets was killed, after not stopping when a group of armed men told him to.
The 31-year-old was traveling from Nogales to Puerto Peñasco with his girlfriend and mother-in-law when they were attacked.
