In Tabasco, the homeland of former Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, an armed commando killed 6 people in a Villahermosa nightclub.

The Secretary of Security of Mexico, Omar García Harfuch, indicated that the federal authorities are already investigating.

The attack of an armed group in the DBar of Villahermosa, Tabasco, left at least 6 people dead and others seriously wounded during the early morning hours of this Sunday, November 24, according to information from El Sol de Mexico.

Omar García Harfuch, head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, confirmed the attack and indicated that the Federal Government is investigating. However, he did not specify the number of victims.

The attack took place at around 4:00 in the morning, when the subjects entered the site and began shooting at both customers and workers, according to local media.

After the attack, the authorities mounted a strong operation in the surroundings of the area.

As is customary in the state of Tabasco, authorities say they are conducting the corresponding investigations, but no arrests have been reported concerning this terrible massacre.
