After having requested leave as a Congress Representative, Clara Luz Flores ended up in the Ministry of the Interior (Secretaría de Gobernación: Segob) as head of the Unit of Religious Affairs, Prevention and Reconstruction of the Social Fabric.
The former Morena candidate for the governorship of Nuevo León shared that she is “happy” and “very honored” by the invitation made to her by President Claudia Sheinbaum to join the second floor of the fourth transformation.
Flores, who appeared in a video with Keith Raniere, leader of NXIVM, commented that she accepted Sheinbaum’s invitation to join her government because she wants to work for the people of Mexico.
“I will continue working for you, this is a task that gives me the great opportunity to be able to serve, collaborate with Claudia Sheinbaum’s project, collaborate with the second floor of the Fourth Transformation, but also the great opportunity to continue working for you, the people,” Clara Flores said in a speech early October.
It is inconsistent that a person who was once considered close to a guy like Keith Allen Raniere an American cult leader who was convicted of a pattern of racketeering activity, including human trafficking, sex offenses, and fraud; is now the head of a department called “Unit of Religious Affairs, Prevention and Reconstruction of the Social Fabric”.
Although Clara Luz has said that she only took self-improvement courses and did not even know the name of NXIVM, the video above made public by Proceso reveals that Clara Luz Flores, Morena’s candidate for the government of Nuevo León at the time, had a direct relationship with Keith Raniere, founder of that sexual sect.
