Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro highlights in his report the application of public resources.

Nayarit is one of the safest states in the country, said Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero (Morena), who highlighted the investments made in the last 365 days that place the entity on the international map, and stated that the fight against corruption is reflected in more jobs, a better economy and the balance of million-dollar debts.

When giving his Third Report to members of the 33rd Legislature of the state and the Nayarit residents gathered at the Teatro del Pueblo Alí Chumacero, the state governor assured that one of the characteristics of his administration is the application of public resources, the lack of indebtedness and the fair use of own money.

In addition, he outlined the achievements and recognized the challenges that have framed the work of the entity that today is positioned as a leader in different areas of public policy, and also referred to economic development, public safety, tourism, education, health, social assistance, infrastructure and the environment.

In this third year of government, with the motto of Juntas y Juntos Somos Invencibles, the governor highlighted public safety as an important achievement for the state, because it would have been a social debt to the inhabitants who today can live in one of the entities of the country, considered one of the safest.

Regarding the investments made, he detailed that during this third year of management, the state achieved the liquidation of passive agents greater than 960 million pesos, debts that, after being settled, improved economic development that in turn achieved a significant increase in the number of jobs and salaries of workers.

In his report, he spoke of the advances in health, education, and social assistance, which were positioned as key nomenclatures for the attention to schools, the expansion of health coverage, the first stage of the Women’s Hospital, with an investment of more than 500 million pesos, as well as the integration of the IMSS-Bienestar System where Nayarit was a pioneer.

Due to the efforts made, Nayarit was placed on the international map with works, roads, expansions, and strategic commercial alliances that promote the flow of people to the region.
